The TomTom Go 700 Portable GPS Car Navigation System has a multitude of options that make travelling easy. To start off with, it offers hands-free navigation with built in Bluetooth technology. Make calls and talk through the speakers of the Go 700 with the help of your Bluetooth enabled phone. All the while, the directions and map are still displayed on the 3.5 inch color screen.
The TomTom Go 700 speaks more than 30 languages in over 50 voices and its user interface includes 18 languages. Other functionality includes a compass mode that gives you better orientation while driving, the volume linked to your car speed so it increases at higher speeds, and an anti-glare screen that provides an optimal view in any light.
All the newest TeleAtlas maps are installed on a 2.5 GB hard drive as one seamless map, This allows you to find your way to any address across the United States and Canada. You can also access millions of points of interest, like hotels, parking garages, restaurants and gas stations, and plot your quickest, shortest route quickly and easily.
The TomTom Go 700 is USB compatible for data transfers to and from your PC. The unit’s Bluetooth receiver allows you to download real-time information on traffic congestion and weather conditions, detailed city maps, additional voices, points of interest, and more. (Some TomTom Plus services require a subscription fee.)
